Grit Athletic ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Grit Athletic mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

When you create an account and use the App, we may collect:

• Account information: Name, email address, date of birth, and gender (provided during sign-up or via Google Sign-In).
• Fitness data: Workout logs, personal records (PRs), conditioning scores, nutrition logs, and habit tracking data that you enter into the App.
• Class reservation data: Class sign-ups, attendance records, and check-in history.
• Device information: Push notification tokens (Expo push tokens) for delivering notifications you opt into.
• Profile photo: If you sign in with Google, we may display your Google profile picture.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the App's features (workout tracking, class booking, PR logging).
• Display your progress, attendance history, and personal records.
• Send push notifications you have opted into (class reminders, workout postings, event announcements).
• Allow coaches to manage class attendance and view member participation.
• Improve and maintain the App.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore) and Firebase Authentication. We use industry-standard security practices including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
• Token-based authentication for all API requests.
• Role-based access controls (users can only access their own data; coaches have limited elevated access for class management).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

• Coaches: Coaches at your gym can view your name, attendance, and check-in status for classes you are enrolled in.
• Service providers: We use Google Firebase for hosting and data storage, and Expo for app updates and push notifications. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Push Notifications

You may opt into push notifications for class reminders, workout postings, event announcements, and other updates. You can manage your notification preferences within the App's settings or through your device's notification settings at any time.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Opt out of push notifications at any time.

7. Children's Privacy
